New Year's Party in Dorm #2

Jackson stepped out of his small room into the main area of the dorm, which was heavily decorated. There was a small blanket hanging above a red, white and blue 2013 banner which held red, white and blue confetti, which at midnight Jackson or someone in his dorm would pull and it would fall over everyone. There was also a radio playing modern music, (Hip-hop, party music, etc.) Then on the counter sat some chips and salsa, a plate of cubed fudge, two or three bottles of Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and Mountain Dew.

Jackson himself had a white formal shirt, freshly ironed, a black tie, black formal pants, also ironed, sneakers, and a cardboard top-hat, which was silver and glittery and had '2013' on the front. He flipped on the radio which started playing (I'll put song below this), he sighed with relief when he saw the confetti rope was a-okay. He had just stepped toward the door when someone knocked on the door. Jackson paced for a minute then closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he looked in the mirror by the door and looked at his hair. It wasn't shaggy anymore, he had used his power to slick it back. He stepped toward the door and opened it.

Anyways, Harmony stood in the doorway, turning back to eye her own room a bit of ways down the hall. When he answered the door, she gave him a smile and a hug as a greeting. "Hey~!" The young woman near sang.

After she took a step back, though, she looked rather uneasy for a few moments. There were a good number of other people here, three lively one's especially she figured were Jackson's roommates - and their friends as well. No one she really knew, though. Normally, she'd love the prospect of there being a lot more people around. The more, the merrier~! Harm loved to have a millions friends.

But... She had never gone to something like this before, and this nervousness... it was alien for her. She felt a bit overdressed too, wearing her outfit from the last prom-thing, since it was the best thing she could find to wear. Ugh. Oh, well. "You know what time it is?" Harmony asked with a smile.

"Hi Harmony!" he said happily returning her hug. He noticed her nervousness but didn't say a word. He smiled when he saw her dress "You look nice." Then he answered her question "Umm..." he glanced at his watch "8:32"

Harmony smiled a bit more naturally at that. Pfft. She looked fawking gorgeous, and she knew it. /egoshot. "Thanks." she said, "You look nice too." The young woman had looked rather surprised when he said what time it was. Damn, they needed more clocks around this place. "Oh, oops~ I think I came a bit early." The blonde shrugged. She had thought it was much later than that. ;w;

"Naw, the big party starts at about 11" he said "I had actually just finished getting ready" he added with a smile.

"Oh, okay." Harmony smiled again. Oh, yeah. She was completely early. "I'm excited~! Did you know they're setting off fireworks later?" She walked to the table and stole a brownie. mine.

"They are?! Cool!" he said happily, that plus confetti equals the best New Years ever. He was determined to make this year he best yet!

"Mhm~" Harmony nodded, her face totally not stuffed with fudge. She took her own invitation and sat down on the couch. "So, what do you do around here for fun?" They had a few hours to kill.

"I watch movies, sharpen my butterfly knives, but I really don't spend much time in my dorm" he said thinking about what he does int his dorm. Damn, he really didnt do much in his dorm did he...no wonder he doesn't even know his dorm-mates.

"Huh." She said, a little more distracted by the food than anything. She hadn't eaten all day, "So, what do you want to do then. We still have a few hours to go~"

"I don't know, what do you want to do?" he asked sitting down on the couch as well

"You don't know?" Harmony mused with a sly smile on her face, "You're not a very good host."

"No" he chuckled "This was their idea 'cause they have more friends than me" he looked down as he said that

Harmony blinked awkwardly for a second. Whoops. "Oh, um -" she choked a little on her brownie before recovering and forcing a smile, "We'll figuring something out, then - I'm sure."

"Yeah" he said returning to his cheerful self "Oh, I want to show you somethin'. It was supposed to be a surprise but I'l show you" he said jumping up and walking over to the confetti rope.

"What...?" Harmony frowned, her gaze following him, then to the ceiling...

He carefully pulled the rope from around a corner and said "When I pull this, red, white and blue confetti will fall all over everyone" with a smile

Harmony's eyes grew wide and quickly put her hands over her head, as if the confetti were falling already and she was trying to cover herself. "Really?" she smiled, "How'd you -?" she glanced around the roof, then smirked and looked back at him. "I'm going to laugh when you have to clean all that up."

"Trust me, it's gonna suck" he chuckled and went to the drink table and asked "Want somethin' to drink?"

"Sure~." Harmony smiled and sat up straight, "Make me a suicide - you know what that is right?" She tilted her head slightly to the side in question.

Jackson tipped his head "No, I don't think I've heard of that before, can you show me?" he asked stepping to the side to let her to the table.

"Really?" Harmony looked a little surprised, "I don't need too - just take every kind of soda and mix it together in the cup~"

'oh ok" he said and started pouring every soda into two cups. After he finished he handed her a cup and picked one up himself. He slowly took a sip and shook his head "Thats....interesting"

"You like it, right?" Harmony smiled and took a drink herself, "Pfft. Of course you do." She shook her head. Me thinks we should make a time skip to midnightish, since it's New Years Eve in actuality. o3o

The party was going on hard when it came 5 minutes till midnight. Jackson kept a watch on his...well...watch, while still having fun. Soon Gangnam Style came on and Jackson stopped dancing.
