Lilac was there, too. She was hidden deep in the crowd, which was why she got passed up. Yeah-- that's why. Well, after many had finally stepped in, she looked at the portal for a long moment before poking it with a finger. A giant flash, and she was in a new place. Noticing the group forming and heading off, she followed quite cheerily, smiling.

Randy, trying to go in with his sister, was shoved back by a large group. His face drained all color, his hair turning pure white. The boy then was pushed forward and was stepped all over. "Owowowowwwwwww!" he groaned, standing up and running to catch up with the group.

A 16-year-old girl jogged towards the portal, sure she had missed the class leaving. Luckily, there were still people filing through, so she got in behind them. She had her black hair drawn up in a ponytail to keep it out of the way, just in case they were doing something somewhat wild.

Mae wore a bright smile, breathing a soft, "Hi" to anybody who looked at her. She had not had the chance to really talk with anybody, but hopefully, that would soon change.

Emil waited for a few of the ones who knew what they were doing to go through. He then took a shaky breath, and gingerly tapped the portal. A ripple was sent through it's face, and before he knew it, he was in a completely different place. A path led up a large hill, where many were trekking up in excitement. Emil watched them for a minute, taking in what just happened. He had never seen anything like the portal!
Before someone else came through, he started walking at a fast pace.

Emil glanced at the bones of deceased dragons. He wanted to stop, wondering about the cause of death, but he remembered the professor['s strict orders. He continued upward, the hot sun beating down on him. He wiped his forehead of sweat.

Sarah and Sean quickly and quietly followed the crowd, making sure they stayed with everyone this time. As they were transported, they landed on the soft grass of the exotic land and continued up the path to the building.

PostSubject: Re: The Second Class   The Second Class - Page 3 EmptyWed May 23, 2012 9:20 pm

The young guardian made sure that the last of the class had walked through before heading in herself, not allowing Alex to step in before her. Ladies first whether he liked it or not. She followed the class up the path and paused for a moment, seeing something gleam in the strange sunlight on the ground. Quietly, Irene bent down and picked it up. 'A blade?' How strange. It certainly wasn't anything from their storage. With a frown, she slid it in her pocked and continued up the path with the rest of the lot.

As the crowd gathered outside the building, Irene took no moment to look at the scenery, though it was quite a sight. Standing high on the hill, the building before them looked worn enough to have been centuries year old, and the design of it looked some sort of mixture between medieval and gothic styled, with stained glass and stone walls. It could almost be compared to some sort of church.

"Many of your classes will be held in this building from now on." Irene called to the crowd and made her way to the large, wooden, front doors. She brought out some strange sort of key and stood so no one could tell exactly what she was holding, before stuffing it quickly back in her pocket and pushing the doors open. The blonde didn't wait a moment to storm down the hall. One might notice the quaint feel to it, many elder paintings and sculptures decorated the place, and the place was lit only by candles. It was also strangely clean and homely-like in contrast to the alien and wild place just outside.

Irene, yet again, didn't give them time to look long. "This way." She called and took them to a precise place. Down the hall, first turn on your right. To the end of the corridor through the door made of ebony. "In here." It was very dark, the only light filtering through a few small windows. There were candles, but Irene refused to light them, having a strong distaste for fire.

"I want to make a few things clear. Obviously, some of you, wouldn't stand a chance on this island as you are because you powers are pathetic in the battlefield. Those of you who can fight will sometimes find yourselves in situations where your gifts are rendered helpless. In order to better yourselves out there, Beata will provide you with weapons and give you the much needed training to get the best out of them." She paused before going on, letting them take all this information in. "First of all, firearms will not be used here. They are loud, obnoxious; They wouldn't hardly to a thing to damage any creature on this island and are only good for dragging every enemy in within a 10 mile radius with their loud fire. So, if you have such a weapon, I suggest you hand it over to me at once and choose something else. One more thing, a question students always ask, are Katana's allowed? The answer is most-likely, no. They are fragile and are a great deal to take care of and we will only hand them out to the most responsible students who ask later on in the year."

She stayed quiet for another few moments before stepping back and holding her arm out. "Feel free to look around. I suggest you choose the weapon that most compliments your body as well as your gifts. If you having any questions, ask me. Once you've picked, there's a training area in the back for you to work on with dummies. If both are consenting, you are also free to try and kill each other; or try to have a group take down one of us. That'd be interesting." she smiled.

Go pick a weapon, people. |D
I have a list of a good number you can choose from. No guns or katanas.
If you think of another weapon you'd like to use not on this list, go ahead and ask.
There will be a limit of 3 to 4 people a certain weapon.

And yes, after this post, you can go post happy and not wait for me. ;3

Gabe snatched the gundo before anyone could take it. The tall boy walked off to the back, where he shot some arrows to get used to the feeling.

Randy grabbed a scythe, racing the wind to get to the back ."Wowo!" he whispered. "A scythe!". The shortish boy raised it, making a long slash in a dummy.

David went up and grabbed A Khopesh and gave it a few swings he then smiled and looked over at Saurin, who was grabbing a claymore. He never liked large weapons, and he seemed really upset giving up his gun with exploding bullets.

Saurin did not hand in his gun though, it was special to him. He walked up and handed them in but whispered "After class could I have those back? There's something special to me about it." He then walked up to David who was smiling like an idiot. "Oh what are you smiling about?" He asked smirking back at him.

"Oh nothing, I was just thinking, the two of us as well as some others against someone like Miss Irene over there."

"Heh well, I'll help ya if you can find enough people with the balls to take on one of them. Good luck."

Emil looked over the weapons carefully, pondering what he'd take. He needed something light that he could use with one hand while controlling his gift with the other. (If he could ever be able to perfect such a thing.)
He suddenly saw something a bit longer than a dagger, but shorter than a sword. It had a ruby colored hilt, and the blade glistened as the sun reflected off it. Emil smiled, and he took the Falcata.
"Thes ez perfect." he commented to himself, making a few practice jabs.

Everyone had gathered at the very building from the first class. It was just as beautiful as normal, and Reed was awed by it. They were quickly rushed in, hardly having time to look at the homely halls. They entered a particularly dark room.

The instant Irene explained weapons, Louis, Alexi, and Reed perked up. Reed's gift was the most useful, but still didn't help her fight that well.

Louis spotted a beautiful long bow, and instantly headed toward that weapon when they were allowed to move. With her far sight, she'd be able to shoot long distances. Literally, long. Depending on the strength of the bow. Maybe there was some way to make it more powerful? Unless the Yumi was more powerful, but it just looked awkward.

Reed thought for a second. With her ability of appearance change, she could get in close range if she was good enough. She had a small build, but she could easily change it as she trained her ability. Hand-to-hand combat might be her best bet. She headed for one of the knives, and decided on the Chakram.

Alexi was afraid the instant he spotted the weapons. Sure, they would help him a deal more, but they all looked dangerous. Menacing. But he walked up to the boomerang. If he had a good aim, and a hard throw, he could use more than one of himself, an older version preferably, and they could bruise and seriously injure, and maybe kill if you hit the right spot.

Green eyes wide, Mae approached the weapons, looking over them. Quickly, the one she thought best suited her caught her attention. Before anybody else could, she snatched up the sai, backing away from the other weapons to be out of the way of people.

Slowly, Mae examined the weapons, enjoying the serene beauty of such weapons.

William quickly snatched up the Jian. It was the first weapon that caught his eye. It was very lithe and he instantly grew attached. WilliamxSword 5evr.

Lynn took more time, looking through each weapon carefully. She tried out a few, all of the blades feeling rather heavy in her hands. She frowned as most of the lighter weapons got snatched up. Not thinking, she grabbed at the Wind and Fire Wheels. She just wanted something.

Felix immediately went to the bow side and grabbed a strong long bow and a lot of arrows and walked over to a archery dummy and started practicing on that and waited for Rose knowing she would pick a bow as well.

Jacob smirked and grabbed a pair of twin swords and ther scabbards and buckled the scabbards onto his belt and walked over to a melee dummy and started slashing at it with every technique he knew.

Will slowly picked up a scimitar and it's scabbard and walked to the melee dummy and surprisingly was very fast at slicing at the dummy.

Luke jogged over to the spear table a picked a spear up and did a quick test stab with it and decided it was okay and walked over to a melee dummy and started working on it.

Happy stared in shock at the weapons. They made him a little ill just looking at them. The thought of killing someone made him feel nauseous, and he tried to close his eyes to shut away the feeling. Slowly, he bent over to grab the claymore sword, and held it in his hands firms. Easy to use, not too heavy. He shuddered as he held it, and he clutched his stomach as he turned, dragging it behind him. Though, this sword would be useful to hold in his mouth if he were to use his power. Speed and enhanced senses complete with a weapon would make him very difficult to hit. But Happy still felt sick.

Pine eyed the weapons, picking one out that she liked the most. Chakrams. She could spin easily on her tippy-toes. So dealing with enemies around her would be a piece of cake. She walked away, keeping them at a good angle so she didn't harm herself.

Next up was Kody, and he eagerly looked around. Mumbling a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, he examined them with great interest. A Katzbalger! Very sharp... He took that, and walked off.

Lilac gazed at the weapons too. "Oooo! Shiiinyyy!" Picking up a war scythe, she looked at it, poking the tip and wincing. "Owwwch!" She stuck her finger in her mouth, tasting blood, then she went to the training place.

Violet walked up nervously to the weapons. She probably needed something light weight because she wasn't very strong, and a long distance weapon so she wouldn't have to get up close to any enemies. After examining all of the weapons, she finally found something that didn't intimidate her enough not to touch it. She cautiously picked up one of the boomerangs in her hand and decided that would be the best thing for her. She timidly walked over to where the practice dummies were and threw the boomerang at one of them.

Payton stepped right up and walked around observing the weapons, occasionally picking one up and seeing how it felt. So far nothing appealed to her. Finally she saw the hook swords. The curved blade intrigued her and she picked it up by the handles, testing out the weight in her hands. She immediately walked over to the practice area and started trying out the new weapon. After she felt she got the feel of her new weapon, Payton stepped up and said, "Anyone wanna go 1 on 1?"

PostSubject: Re: The Second Class   The Second Class - Page 3 EmptyWed May 23, 2012 9:46 pm

Maggie smiled at the beautiful array of weapons laid out before them, admiring each one. She was glad for no firearms -- Irene was right, they're obnoxious. And katanas were just stupid as compared to the more practical weapons. She didn't have much need, as water was a fair gift in terms of battle, but she still had a tomahawk strapped to her side. Not only was her background Native American, but she found the weapon could actually do a significant amount of damage when used properly. Throwing it was her favorite way of practicing, and she did just that as the other students picked weapons -- with a throw of her arm, the axe flew into the chest of a dummy. She smiled triumphantly, hoping someone had seen her work. As a Guardian, she was to provide an example. "I'm willing to help anyone train! Hehe," She said, shrugging, even though she had just splintered a weapon into a human-shaped punching bag.

Greg was beaming -- this place was great! He loved the bows, the staves, the swords . . . but most of all, the curious weapon of the bagh nakh caught his eye. Based on the big cats of India, the weapon was developed to work as a cat's claw . . . and his fighting style would be easily adjusted to the durable, sharp weapons. He put one on both of his hands, and duplicated himself once. The two moved into the training area, and began to duel, Greg fighting with kicks and spins, severing into the duplicates flesh. Adding to Maggie's proposal, he said, ""I think I can assist those of you who need a . . . living dummy." Smirking, he finished the other him of with a claw to the throat. "The Leopard's Claw" was his new favorite weapon.

Trina examined the weapons more warily. She knew how to shoot guns -- her mother owned six, including an assault rifle, and both of her parents were part of the NRA. But these weapons were different . . they seemed more dangerous, primal, ancient, and wild. She felt a bow, even tried to hold it, but it felt lanky and uncomfortable, and she could hardly string it. The sword was too scary -- when she tried to swing it, the blade was much to close to her body, and she feared that she would mess up. Her stomach flopped when she took twin daggers, and the sai was just horrible. When she made it to the spear, she felt a little better. It was practical, she could use it as both a staff and a blade, and she wouldn't have to put herself into much danger when she used it. She took the black, sleek spear and held it in her right hand, using her left to motion towards the ceiling as if she were calling a storm. Yes, this was a practical weapon for her. Hopefully lightning would suffice on most, though.

Dart, Eb strictly stated no guns. Turn it in. Exploding bullets?... it doesn't matter. No firearms. :)
